The most often spinal pain causes are strangulated nerve roots, intervertebral cartilage injuries, vertebral joint arthroses, narrow spinal canal, irritation and block of the sacroiliac joint, as well as muscle malposition and strangulation.
The principle of my treatment is always based on the following rule: Do as much as necessary with as little as possible, but first of all, it should be mild and careful with my main anxiety being to avoid surgery. Avoiding surgery is proved to be practicable in approximately 90% of patients with spinal pain. Unfortunately, nowadays surgical procedure is advised too early and promptly without adequately using alternative non-invasive therapeutic methods, such as the advanced micro therapy method. Due to computed tomography-controlled technologies, such as periradicular therapy (PRT), epidural infiltration, thermocoagulation of facetjoints, epidural therapy with anesthetic catheter or transcutaneous micro laser therapy, physicianshavemild non-invasivetherapeutic methods in their disposal, which, in any case, must be used as the last conservative treatment option prior to the surgery, a real ordeal for any patient.
